About
Nick is a documentary filmmaker who has spent years covering the war in Ukraine, amplifying the voices of those living through conflict. His most notable work is Dima (2024), a documentary he directed about a man who fled Mariupol during the early weeks of the full-scale invasion.
A native English speaker, Nick also speaks Russian, Ukrainian, and Spanish at an intermediate (B1) level. He holds a B.A. in History from the University of California, Berkeley, focusing his studies on war in 20th-century Europe.
He currently works as a videographer for The Kyiv Independent.
